PROF. JOHN KURAKAR DISTRIBUTED EDAN NAGAR STUDY TOUR AWARDS-2016 AT KANYA KUMARI

Ayppalloor Edan Nagar annual tour-2016 was held on 29^th October, 2016. 56 members participated. The study tour started from Ayppalloor Kurishadi Junction at 6.15 AM with prayer by Mr. Thomas, Director of the study tour. Prof. John Kurakar,President of the Edan Nagar officially inaugurated the programme. The 56 member’s team visited Shantigiri Ashrams, Thiruvananthapuram Zoo and Kanyakumari. The study tour committee conducted various completions in different locations. Prof. John Kurakar distributed prizes and awards to the various winners at Kanyakumari. Mr. M.Achen kunju and Prof. Molly Kurakar was the quiz masters and judges of various competitions.

PROF. JOHN KURAKAR ADDRESSING ON THE 2^ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE URI-THALAVOOR CC.

The 2^nd anniversary of the U.R.I (United Religions Initiative)Thalavoor CC was held on 1^st October,2016 at Kottarakara Thalavur Ettakkaril Fr. O.Thomas’s residence. The Meeting was begun at 10.30 A.M with Peace prayer. Mr. A.G Rajan IAS inaugurated the anniversary. Mr. Chandra Choodan, Rtd Principal presided. Prof. John Kurakar, Global Council Trustee delivered introductory speech. Dr. Raj Kumar (WHO Chapter Chairman and Medical Scientist)Dr. Sajiv (Medical Award Winner),Mr. Majeed Rawther( Masjid Chair person), Mr. Rajesh Vendar, Mr. Pratheef Kollam (Mahathma Gandhi Peace Foundation), Prof. T.G Rajan, Advocate Sajan Koshy (URI-South India and Sri-Lanka Vice Chairman) were also spoke on the occasion. Mr. Ganesh Kumar MLA also visited and delivered a felicitation speech .Rev Fr. Dr. O Thomas (Chairman of the URI-Thalavur CC welcomed the delegates. More than 80 delegates participated. The function concluded with Lunch at 2 PM.
